It is located on Navajo land near Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon was, and still is, being formed by violent erosion from flash floods. The torrents of water which occasionally pass through this canyon have sculpted the rock into graceful and awesome shapes. The colors, shapes and shadows in the canyon vary from minute to minute and day to day. The time of day, the time of year, and the clarity of the sunshine on any given day make the colors of the canyon different with every visit.
